A story that began in 1989
Nemapress Publishing is a registered publishing brand owned by Neria De Giovanni, a writer and cultural operator, who started her publishing activity in Sardinia, in Alghero, in 1989, with the publication of the literary periodical "Salpare." It later expanded to the mainland, where it opened a branch in Rome, in the heart of Trastevere, and is about to establish itself in the North, in Lombardy, with a presence in Monza.
From its initial activity to date, over 300 titles have been published, covering a wide range of genres from fiction to non-fiction, poetry to theater, and musical and artistic productions, all encapsulated in 16 series.
In 2004, the Nemapress Publishing brand was complemented by the Salpare Association, founded with aims of social solidarity in the cultural and artistic heritage sector, which is dedicated to promoting and disseminating knowledge of Nemapress publications.
Since 2020, in a perspective of strengthening and editorial growth, Nemapress Publishing relies on web4publishing s.r.l. as its commercial and administrative partner.
In recent years, the online publication portaletterario.net has also been added, a literary criticism magazine included in the cittanet.it network, composed of over 30 journalistic publications.
The Alghero Donna National Literature and Journalism Prize, divided into three sections: Prose, Poetry, and Journalism, and the Farfa Prize for culture, environment, and tourism, complete the network revolving around the Nemapress brand, and its founder, Neria De Giovanni, coordinator and animator of all activities.
